The Cattledog.com rescue pages get hundreds of hits per week from people looking to add a "second hand" ACD to their pack. The rescue pages are my top priority here at cattledog.com and I try my best to get them updated as quickly as possible after a dog is submitted. The following guidelines will make it easier for all of us to get dogs listed here as quickly as possible so that potential adopters can see these wonderful "second hand dogs". Scroll down or click on the shortcut below to find the appropriate instructions.

A note to ALL people listing dogs....PLEASE be courteous and let me know when the dog(s) you have listed are adopted!! Save the email autoreply you receive when your form submission is complete and use the appropriate email address to let me know when a dog needs to be removed from the rescue pages. Be sure to include the dogs name AND location so I don't delete the wrong dog (duplicate names are frequent on these pages!).

This is an advertisement and your donation will help us defray the costs of listing the dogs that don't have someone caring enough to take the time to find home for their animals. PLEASE NOTE that owned dogs needing homes for special circumstances (divorce, move, death, allergies, behavior problems, etc.) are considered PLACEMENTS and have their own special page. Rescue groups found to be listing these types of dogs will have their posting courtesies rescinded.
